When i try to print anything from chrome, it defaults to the chrome print screen (as opposed to the windows system print screen).
The drop-down for printers populates with only a loading spinner for about 15 seconds, then it finally shows my available printers (i have around 5). Anyone encounter this? Why is it taking so long, is it searching for network or cloud printers? Is there a way to disable this?
I'm on chrome 74.0.3729.157, OS is win 7

I currently have one user receiving the following error when using Google Chrome.. Chrome SSL Error - "NET::ERR_CERTIFICATE_TRANSPARENCY_REQUIRED"
The error happens randomly, and she is unable to browse to any website once the error occurs. I had cleared her SSL state and restored Chrome, and she still receives the error. IE and Firefox aren't effected. When the user signs out and signs back in, Chrome works for her again. (The user is also on a terminal server). Has anyone seen this error before?

I look after around 100 PC in my company. All devices are on the domain.
Now, I am stuck with a seemingly easy case and I don't know how to advance.
One of my colleagues have just come back from his week long holidays and he cannot browse the Internet on his Windows 7 Pro based PC. All other internet based services work - Outlook connects to MS Exchange with no problems, NAS is accessible, pinging google.com works like a charm, cloud based apps give no problems - the only thing he cannot do is to browse websites using any of the browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE). Chrome gives the following error, which I searched google for, obviously - DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET. Firefox gives blank screen. IE gives "This page can't be displayed" error.

We use Firefox as our default browsers. I'm setting up a new PC for a user and installed Firefox 67. As usual, I coped her profile folders from the old PC to the new. However, when I opened Firefox it told me it would not use profiles from other computers and that I had to use Sync to transfer the profile.
WTF??? The #1 reason we use Firefox is so that when we get new computers, I can easily transfer bookmarks, saved passwords, extensions, etc. I guess now I either have to set up Firefox Sync on every user's computer or look for another browser. PITA!
FYI on this PC I ended up installing 66.0.5, transferring the profile, then updating to 67.0.1 but I don't think that is a viable solution long term.
I am lookig for a way to deploy password cache restrictions for major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE, Edge) to the point users cannot re-enable it. I do not want to use GPO since our enterprise uses Desktop Central. I figure there has to be a registry entry for this or a script? Any help is appreciated.

Anybody else having problems this morning with the new chrome update? version now is 75.0.3770.80 (Official Build) (64-bit). Users across the organization are experiencing intermittent issues with pages blanking out on mouse over. when scrolling, text characters are either disappearing or changing to hieroglyphics. so far some have been fixed by tweaking dpi and zoom with chrome restarts but only seems temporary. Anyone have any thoughts or fixes? roll back looks to be a bit painful.
We have had multiple reports from staff of Chrome displays going goofy/weird (yes, that IS the technical term) for what you see below.....
According to Google, this is a Chrome isssue and they are working on a resolution For now, the suggested work-around is....... (are you ready?).........use INTERNET EXPLORER!!!!

Clearing the browser cache and allowing dangerous websites does not work.
I have users at a branch, where all users on desktop PCs are unable to access certain websites (such as www.dpdlocal.co.uk). When the PCs are at head office, the website can be accessed fine, however when they are transferred to site they are unable to access them - the website simply times out.
Here's the weird element - the Branch Manager, who uses a laptop (on the same network, hardwired) is able to access the websites perfectly fine.
I have tried checking settings on the router, contacting the ISP, rebooting the router, flushing the DNS.. all the usual stuff. Nothing seems to work.
Anyone got any ideas? :)
This just started with Chrome 75. I can get to the security server web page at 192.168.X.X on IE and Edge.
The login page appears. But then I just get rolling dots that last forever.

I work for a school, we are enrolling thousands of Chromebooks this summer, thanks to the G1s no longer being supported by Google.
We make use of a plugin for chrome, i believe it is just called "Chromebookinventory". This allows us to pull down all recently enrolled devices, name them, place notes on them, and upload the the various OUs.
This is a screenshot of the plugin. It is simple but works great.

Anyone know a workaround to block experts-exchange from showing in google search results?
They constantly clog up top results for google searches and their answers are behind paywalls.
I've tried a few Extensions in Chrome with no luck. Looking for more of a permanent solution not adding a filter to all my searches i.e "-experts-exchange"
I know you use to be able to create block list in Chrome but they have disabled that feature...
I'm sure many other Spiceheads would benefit from an answer!

I don't post on here often, but I have an issue where I am just lost....
So, a user has Chrome set to automatically download files rather than prompting for location. However, PDF still prompt. She is using Chrome and the PDF is opening in Chrome's PDF Viewer, but when clicking the download button, it prompts for a location rather than auto download. Other systems do not prompt with these same settings. ...and it is not just chrome, it is the same behavior in Brave Browser (although I acknowledge that is just a chromium branch). Does anyone know what setting I am missing?
We've recently noticed that Chrome added a "Save to Google Drive" option in the browser's print menu, and it appears to be listing destinations for any account signed into Google, even if users are not signed into the browser itself.
Does anyone know if there's a way to block or disable this option? I've tried using registry keys to disable Google Cloud Print, but they don't seem to have much effect.
I have set a policy to always open PDFs externally so they will open in Acrobat. Inevitably though, someone will use a website (government sites usually) that embeds a PDF in a web page and becomes unviewable due to the policy. I want it both ways. If someone clicks on a link to a PDF, or a PDF is dynamically generated on a site, I want it to open in Acrobat, but for those sites that insist on embedding PDFs inside web pages, I'd like those to work as well. Any suggestions?

Hey everybody, I am looking for recommendations for some sort of free or open source web content monitoring software. We are a relatively big plant, however production computers, have no web access. That is the majority of the computers here. However I have faced the problem of office workers spending the majority of their time at work, surfing craigslist, facebook, ect. I do not want to terminate or enforce blocking of these sites, but however it makes it relatively hard to see when people are going to approved but very suspicious sites. I am currently using Kaspersky Lab to enforce a lot of the web control policies, and hope to have something more structured in the future. Have an odd situation where all users have the latest version of Google Chrome installed on their laptops:-
Google Chrome is up to date
Version 75.0.3770.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)
However, when some print the same webpage for example, it comes out fine, others, there are numerous pages printing blank pages with some mixed up symbols on, and it keeps printing until the printer has to be stop manually.
The laptops all pick up the same printer via the network.

So i been using goggle chrome to access a remote server using spark gateway. i was copying and pasting information from my physical device to the remote server and it was working fine now all of a sudden i am no longer able to user the copy and paste function or clip in the remote session. wondering if anyone one else has run into this issue before and could know a quick fix for it.
